Lynn T. Palac, AssociateLynn T. Palac gained her Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law in 1999, with a concentration in criminal litigation. She joined the Cook County State Attorney's Office after graduation and has litigated a wide range of criminal cases. Lynn has appeared in court almost daily for her entire career. She is an experienced trial attorney and has litigated hundreds of cases. Her experience with criminal cases includes everything from traffic violations and DUI to drug and violent felony criminal cases including murder, home invasion and reckless homicide. In addition to her trial experience, Lynn has been interviewed on several Chicago Newschannels regarding pending high profile cases. Asked to serve on a task force to address police impersonation issues after 9/11, she worked with Chicago Police, FBI and Homeland Security agents exploring ways to keep the area safer. Lynn also currently teaches a Criminal Justice Ethics college course and does a lot of work within the community, including presenting at seminars and training other attorneys on the intricacies of criminal law through the Bar Association where she is Chair of the Criminal Law Committee. Her experience as a prosecutor and her prior work with the police department has put her in the perfect position to evaluate charges and find how to best defend her clients against them. Lynn has expanded her significant court room experience into the civil arena and now uses her skills to advocate on behalf of our clients in business and other civil matters. Lynn’s experience ranges from general breach of contract cases, to breach of confidentiality issues, commercial foreclosure actions and discrimination cases.
